Each month, we will screen one movie that was filmed here in Winston-Salem (or in the Piedmont Triad) and hold an informative post-screening conversation.

Rebecca Clark, The Executive Director of the Piedmont Triad Film Commission (PTFC) will discuss how the PTFC worked to recruit the film, where the film was made, why filming is an important component of Winston-Salem's economic development efforts in creating jobs while boosting the local economy, and how Winston-Salem residents can help get even more film productions here.

This exclusive and curated monthly screening series by Marketplace Cinemas will feature both major Hollywood Studio Feature Films and quality Independent Features with Short Films.

The first two films to be screened:

The film also stars Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men, The Last Showgirl, Red One). Synopsis: Two siblings with special powers live with their parents behind an impenetrable wall that isolates them from the outside world.
