A COMPLETE UNKNOWN features the incredibly stunning cinematography from Phedon Papamichael, ASC, GSC.

Our lead projectionist, Zack Fox, a working cinematographer himself, has studied under Phedon Papamichael during Zack's time in the ASC (American Society of Cinematographers) Masterclass program.

A COMPLETE UNKNOWN marks the eighth film collaboration between Papamichael and Director James Mangold. For this film, they utilized the new Venice 2 camera, filming the world of Bob Dylan in 1964’s Chelsea, New York, at 6400iso with a dark and minimum lighting design. This means to enjoy this movie the way it was meant to be seen, the cinema screens need to be running with top notch calibration of lumens and brightness to highlight the beauty of the cinematographer’s work.
So our lead projectionist has tested, calibrated, and ensured that our screen of A COMPLETE UNKNOWN is running at optimal operation to highlight both the beauty of one of his mentors cinematography work, along with the power of the crisp Dolby Audio Sound.

We truly believe A COMPLETE UNKNOWN is one of the best films of 2024, and will receive many awards during the upcoming Oscars and Golden Globes.
